Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? 😪
It’s unfortunate but most Americans are only entitled to 15 vacation days a year and, depending on your information source, between 1 and 5 sicks days.
To put it into persepcive that’s roughly 4 percent of your time that being spent on you, your family, and those you wish to spend your time with.
Not only that, but the U.S is one of only 13 countries in the world where it’s workers aren’t guaranteed any paid time off.
Wanna know what’s worse?
52% of the population doesn’t even use all of their time off due to the demands of the role they serve in their organization.
This is one of the 1498327 reasons why I decided remote work and entrepreneurship was a better choice.
This isn’t freedom, it’s legal slavery. 🤦‍♂️
So, how can you avoid getting trapped in this perpetual cycle?
By working for yourself!
Starting your own online business using content marketing as a vehicle is a great way to gain control of your work life and to be location independent in the process.🌍🌎🌏
Do I work more than I would in a traditional job at times? Sure, but I have full control over my time and location.

Let me tell you why “balance” is completely and utterly overrated!
Boats need to be balanced to stay afloat. Too much to one side or the other and the boat sinks.
That’s all fine and dandy if we’re discussing weight distribution but there is no such thing as a balanced life. 🙅‍♀️
That’s because if you do achieve perfect balance, something will always be lacking.
The problem is that people think that balance is the end all be all to all of life's little problems. (That’s a lot of alls!)
You hear these buzz words or phrases thrown around all the time:
🤹 Work/life balance
🤹 Balancing Act
🤹 Checks and Balances
🤹 Off-balance
Balance! Balance! Balance!
The reality is that if everything was perfectly aligned, you’d never go deep enough in any one area.
Businesses take a lot of deep work (Ask Cal Newport).
Relationships require a LOT of attention to make them work.
Financial Freedom requires immense focus.
If everything was equally weighted, you just wouldn’t get so far in any one domain of your life.
👍 Try this instead:
Replace “balance” for Sacrifice and Prioritization.
Wanna get in peak physical condition, Prioritize healthy meals, and sacrifice a little more money for the “healthy stuff.” (I think that’s the scientific term 🤔) Or sacrifice your social life for time spent in the weight room. 🏋️‍♂️
Want an endless supply of money so you can be financially free? Skip the $6 Mocha Choca Latte’s (or whatever fancy drink that’s stealing your freedom) and prioritize business & investing. 💰
I think you get the point!
Balance is overrated and it shouldn't be a goal. At least not at first.
Most millionaire entrepreneurs spent 60-80+ hours grinding it out before they “made it.”
Whatever it is your after, go deep and become excellent at it until it’s sustainable. Then you can move on to the next thing.
